CHICAGO - Cristobal Huet made 31 saves and Martin Havlat scored the go-ahead goal midway through the third period to lead the Chicago Blackhawks to their fourth straight victory, 3-1, over the Columbus Blue Jackets last night.

Havlat ripped a shot from the left circle past rookie goalie Steve Mason at 9 minutes, 36 seconds of the third period to complete a crisp give-and-go with Duncan Keith.

Fredrik Modin scored for Columbus and the 20-year-old Mason finished with 28 saves. The Blue Jackets have lost five straight on the road.

Brendan Morrison scored the go-ahead goal in the second period, and Chris Kunitz set up first-period goals by Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry, leading Anaheim over Minnesota.

The loss was the fifth straight for Minnesota, the first time in the franchise's nine-year history that the Wild have had a five-game losing streak with all five games being decided in regulation.

Eric Belanger had a goal and an assist for Minnesota, and Marc-Andre Bergeron scored on the power play.
