Drexel's eight-point lead vanished early in the second half as Richmond pulled away for a 73-60 victory over the Dragons in women's college basketball yesterday.
Richmond (10-1) shot 60 percent from the floor in the second half Brittani Shells scored 21 of 30 points in the period. Gabriela Marginean led Drexel (4-5) with 28 points. Kamile Nacickaite added 14 points and a game-high nine rebounds. Jasmina Rosseel added 12.

* Playing its second game in 3 days, Villanova was unable to overcome poor shooting from the field and fell to Delaware, 52-49, at The Pavilion. The Wildcats (6-4) shot 32.8 percent (19-for-58) from the floor. Villanova's Laura Kurz (19 points) led all players.
* Down by two points at the break, the Temple (6-4) used a 28-point swing in the final 12 minutes to earn a 78-73 victory over host Ball State (6-4). Kristen McCarthy scored 11 of her career-high 15 points during that stretch for Temple.
* Seton Hall team rallied from a 14-point deficit in the second half to defeat Saint Joseph's in overtime, 74-67. Mariame Djouara led the Hawks (5-6) with 21 points. *
