Tight end Cornelius Ingram was back at practice a day after injuring his surgically repaired left knee when he got tangled up with two defenders during Eagles minicamp.
The rookie was wearing an elastic knee brace, though, and sat out noncontact drills yesterday. He did participate in individual workouts with rookie tight end Eugene Bright.
Ingram tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in August and sat out his senior season at Florida after undergoing reconstructive surgery.
The Eagles signed free agent punter Ken Parrish and released kicker Sam Swank.
Parrish, a product of East Stroudsburg University and a native of East Stroudsburg, Pa., spent training camp and preseason with the 49ers in 2007 before being cut.
He boomed most of his punts between 45 and 50 yards during practice yesterday.
Swank, a rookie out of Wake Forest, participated in post-draft minicamp and through Tuesday's workouts, but was missing Wednesday and is now gone.
Surgery for Gordon
Defensive tackle Amon Gordon underwent surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles' tendon, the team announced. A four-year pro picked up by the Eagles in the off-season after Tennessee waived him, Gordon suffered the injury during practice May 21.
The Eagles replaced Gordon with rookie free agent Trevor Jenkins on Wednesday.
