WEST ALLIS, Wis. - This was not what Helio Castroneves had in mind after the biggest victory of his career.
Days after his third Indianapolis 500 win, Castroneves crashed during qualifying into the concrete wall in Turn 2 at the Milwaukee Mile yesterday. That mishap will make things more difficult today for the Penske Racing driver in the A.J. Foyt 225: He will have to start 20th on the 20-car grid.
Ryan Briscoe, a teammate of Castroneves' will be starting on the pole. "He always seems to win the race when they put him in the back," Briscoe said of Castroneves.
