Carrasco's strong outing gets IronPigs a 4-2 win

INDIANAPOLIS - Righthander Carlos Carrasco gave up three hits in seven innings while striking out five to get his first win of the season as Lehigh Valley topped Indianapolis, 4-2, in the first game of an International League doubleheader last night.

TRENTON - Christian Garcia pitched seven shutout innings to lead the Thunder past the Baysox in the Eastern League. Garcia gave up four hits while striking out six and walking two in his longest appearance of the season.

Shortstop Reegie Corona, sent back to the Thunder from triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before the game, went 3 for 5 with a double and an RBI.
