Sixers center Samuel Dalembert and guard Willie Green will take part in the NBA's Basketball Without Borders program in Mexico City in August.
Assistant coach Jim Lynam will be part of a similar program in Beijing that begins in late July.
The program is the NBA's and FIBA's global basketball development effort that uses the game to help promote change in education, health and wellness. A camp also will be held this summer in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Yao Ming, Dikembe Mutombo (Houston) and Jason Terry (Dallas) are the players scheduled to participate in China.
Dalembert and Green will be joined by Al Horford (Atlanta) and Eduardo Najera (New Jersey) in Mexico.
Dwight Howard (Orlando), Carlos Boozer (Utah), Chris Bosh (Toronto) and Nate Robinson (New York) are among the players going to South Africa. *
