Two Temple football players who were given second chances by coach Al Golden, senior defensive end Junior Galette and junior defensive back Daryl Robinson, are no longer on the roster.

The sports information department said there would be no comment.

Galette, who led the team in sacks in 2008, was suspended for the final three games of the season after breaking unspecified team rules. Robinson, who went to North Catholic, made immediate contributions on offense as a true freshman in 2007. He transferred to a California junior college the following summer, but returned to Temple as a walk-on earlier this year after backing off an oral commitment to Minnesota. He'd been moved to the secondary, which many considered his better position coming out of high school.

Both were listed as second-teamers on the depth chart coming out of spring practice. Robinson participated in those drills. Galette was held out. *
