Michael Simpson piled up 18 points, nine rebounds, six steals, and two assists in highlighting Winslow Township's 53-46 win over Vineland Sunday in the championship game of the Boardwalk Classic Bracket B in Wildwood.
The Eagles shot 53 percent from the field in the first half and reeled off a decisive 15-5 second quarter to take a nine-point halftime lead. Shawn Valentine added 13 points and five steals as Vineland committed 34 turnovers.
In the consolation game, Middle Township used a 16-10 fourth quarter to nail down a 45-38 win over Holy Cross. Marcus Harmon snagged 15 rebounds to go with 14 points, and John Jefferson dealt eight assists for the Braves.
Boardwalk Bracket A. Cape May Tech made five of eight first-half three-point shots for a 25-17 lead and held on to beat Lower Moreland, 60-45, in the title game in Wildwood.
Aaron Freeman had 25 points and grabbed six rebounds for Tech, while Lou Sotomayor added 23 points, seven rebounds, four steals, and three assists. Ocean City won the consolation game, 60-48, with balanced scoring by Tyler Reich (17), Chris Curran (15), Tom Ballezzi (12) and Matt Bosch (10).
Boardwalk Bracket E. Absegami notched a 63-50 semifinal win over West Windsor-Plainsboro South with four players in double figures in Wildwood. David White gave the Braves 17 points and nine rebounds, and Avery Cunningham chipped in with 15 points and eight boards
Paul VI. The host Eagles followed Nick Moore's 28 points and six rebounds to an 83-60 success against George Washington (Pa.) in the showcase event. Robert Poole contributed 17 points, seven rebounds and three steals.
Anthony D'Orazio's 17 points and Gerry Wixted's 12 steered Camden Catholic past Paul Robeson (N.Y.), 78-55.
Red Bank Regional. Pennsauken got through the first round of the eight-team event, 57-56, over Monmouth Regional when Hubert Simmons hit a game-winning basket with 25 seconds left.
The Indians' Frank Smalls had 19 points and 13 rebounds, and Takwail Bailey added 12 points, five steals and five assists.
Seneca outrebounded Middle Township by 27-18 and held the Panthers to 31 percent shooting from the field while winning the Bracket A title game, 50-37, at the Boardwalk Classic in Wildwood.
Brittany Snow made 10 of 14 shots in a 21-point effort, and Chelsea Grover had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Golden Eagles.

Andrew Alameno Bracket. Wildwood Catholic knocked off rival Wildwood, 58-50, in the Island Championship of the Boardwalk Classic in Wildwood. Laura Martin's 10 points and 10 rebounds supported Emily Whissell's 16 points and five assists.
Boardwalk Bracket B. Ashley Giedemann scored a game-high 23 points for Washington Township, but the Minutemaids were beaten by Methacton, 56-28, in the title game.
