Personally, my favorite memory came in Game 3 against the Bruins in a contest the Flyers actually lost.
Ian Laperriere, his face still disfigured from blocking that shot less than 2 weeks before, was shown on the Wachovia Center scoreboard and he received an ovation for the ages. The overwhelming reception nearly brought Laperriere to tears, and the well-traveled grinder would later say that he was caught off guard because he had only been a Flyer for "7 months and I didn't think they'd know who I was." Actually, Ian, they'll never forget you.
