The Philadelphia Wings head into the 2013 season with newly acquired transition player Paul Rabil, who is widely considered to be the best lacrosse player in the world. He was traded from the Rochester Knighthawks as part of a blockbuster six-player trade that sent Wings forward Dan Dawson and defenseman Paul Dawson to the Knighthawks.
The team finalized its 23-man roster Thursday.
Top returnees from last season include NLL all-stars Brodie Merrill and Max Seibald and NLL rookie of the year runner-up, Kevin Crowley.
The Wings open the 2013 season at home against the Buffalo Bandits at the Wells Fargo Center on Jan. 11 at 7 p.m.
