Lenzelle Smith Jr. added 12 points - all in the first half - for Ohio State (18-6, 8-4 Big Ten).
Northwestern (13-12, 4-8) led throughout the second half despite having only seven scholarship players because of injuries. Tre Demps led the Wildcats with 16 points.
Louisville 72, St. John's 78 - Russ Smith scored 21 second-half points that put the No. 12 Cardinals ahead for good against the visitors.
He finished with 24 points for Louisville (20-5, 8-4).
Phil Greene IV scored 21 points for the Red Storm (15-10, 7-6).
Minnesota 58, Wisconsin 53 - Andre Hollins hit the go-ahead three-pointer midway through overtime to finish with 21 points and lead the Gophers (18-7, 6-6 Big Ten) past the No. 20 Badgers in Minneapolis.
It was third consecutive game in which Wisconsin went to overtime. Sam Dekker scored 14 points for the Badgers (17-8, 8-4).
CSAC honors. Cabrini coach Marcus Kahn and sophomore Aaron Walton-Moss (Camden) won season-ending awards in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
Kahn was named CSAC coach of the year for the fifth consecutive season. Walton-Moss was the player of the year.
Gwynedd-Mercy freshman Darnell Artis (La Salle High) was chosen as rookie of the year.
