Farad Cobb hit a three-pointer that put Cincinnati in control in overtime, and the host Bearcats pulled away to a 71-62 victory over No. 19 San Diego State on Wednesday night after letting a late lead slip away in regulation.

The Bearcats (7-2) were coming off a 56-55 double-overtime loss at Nebraska on Saturday night that underscored their season-long struggle to hit shots. Cobb made the one in overtime that made the difference and finished with 12 points.

Winston Shepard had a game-high 17 points, including a pair of free throws with 3.9 seconds left that tied it 57 and sent it overtime. The Aztecs (7-3) were outscored, 14-5, in overtime.

Widener 80, Drew 69 - David Nicholson had a team-high 26 points to lead the Pride to a win in Madison, N.J. Greg Lawson added 15 points and seven rebounds for Widener (9-2).

Rowan 86, Neumann 61 - Guard Kris O'Connor (Paul VI) had 16 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 steals to lead the Profs (9-1) to a road victory.

Ike Robinson had 15 points and nine rebounds for Rowan, which has won six in a row. Tyreek Riddick (Math, Civics, and Sciences) led Neumann (5-4) with 13 points.

Ursinus 100, Eastern 92 - The Bears (1-7) picked up their first win of the season behind 24 points on 11-for-11 shooting from Joseph LoStracco (Archbishop Wood).


Quinnipiac 74, Drexel 50 -
