The Miami Heat said Monday that Chris Bosh is scheduled to resume "full basketball activities" in September, which would indicate that he expects to be able to play when training camp for the 2015-16 season starts. Bosh will be evaluated later this month and if cleared, "may begin regular exercise with plans to start strength training next month," the team said.

Bosh's last game with the Heat this season was Feb. 11, just before the start of the All-Star break

Rose plans to return

Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose said he thinks he will be back this season after last month's knee surgery, but he isn't putting a firm timetable on his return.

Rose said his return this season is "the plan, so whenever I feel right."

Rose hasn't played since Feb. 23 against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Monday's games: Kyle Korver and DeMarre Carroll each scored 20 points as the Atlanta Hawks became the first NBA team to 50 wins, scoring a season high in beating the visiting Sacramento Kings, 130-105.

Anthony Davis scored 43 points to tie a career high and helped the New Orleans Pelicans pull away for a 114-103 road win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Kenneth Faried had 19 points and 11 rebounds, and the Denver Nuggets routed the New York Knicks, 106-78. The Knicks became the NBA's first 50-loss team this season. - Associated Press
