LaDontae Henton had 20 points and 12 rebounds and Kris Dunn had 17 points and 11 assists to lead fourth-seeded Providence to a 74-57 victory over fifth-seeded St. John's on Thursday in the Big East Tournament quarterfinals at Madison Square Garden.

The Friars (22-10), the defending champions, will play top-seeded and fourth-ranked Villanova (30-2) in the semifinals on Friday night.

Rysheed Jordan had 18 points for St. John's (21-11).

Georgetown 60, Creighton 55 - D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera led all scorers with 25 points as the Hoyas (20-9) outlasted the Bluejays (14-18). James Milliken led Creighton with 17 points.

Xavier 67, Butler 61 (OT) - Matt Stainbrook and Dee Davis scored 13 apiece to lead a balanced attack, and the Musketeers (19-12) prevailed over the Bulldogs (22-9) in overtime. Xavier will face Georgetown in the semifinals.
