Jill Conroy scored 23 points and Erin Fenningham added 21 as Holy Family (21-10) became the first regional eighth seed to beat a first seed in the 64-team era (since 2004) of the NCAA Division II Tournament.
Kasey Woetzel added 14 points for the Tigers, who will face Stonehill in one of Saturday's East Regional semifinal.
Kelly Mannix and Anh-Dao Tran each had 25 points for Adelphi (28-4)

Briana Bradford scored 21 points to lead New Haven (24-5) in the East Regional quarterfinal.
Mary Newell scored 13 points in 17 minutes for PU (22-9). Bri Young and Tori Arnao (10 rebounds) each added 12. Najah Jacobs chipped in with 11.
WEST LIBERTY 88, WEST CHESTER 85
Kierra Simpson had 13 points and 29 rebounds to lead West Liberty (24-8) in the Atlantic Region first-round game.
Dallas Ely scored 25 points and Brittany Sicinski added 22 for West Chester (24-6). Jasmen Clark added 16.
DELAWARE 55, DREXEL 48
Courtni Green scored 16 points to lead the Blue Hens to the upset victory in the CAA tournament quarterfinals.
Sarah Curran was the only Drexel player in double-figures with 12 points. Rachel Pearson and Jackie Schluth each put up eight points. Alexis Smith added seven points, five assists and two steals.
Delaware opened the game with a 20-9 run and the lead reached 14, but with improved defensive play, Drexel cut the deficit to 28-20 at the break. A Curran layup with 2:08 remaining had the score at 50-48. Timely free throws from Delaware the rest of the way out gave the Blue Hens their seven-point victory.
