The ending the first time Archbishop Carroll played Neumann-Goretti this season was so dramatic it demanded a sequel.
Part 2 comes to Hershey on Friday night.
Derrick Jones (22 points, 16 rebounds) helped get Carroll there Tuesday with a 59-32 win over Erie Cathedral Prep in a PIAA Class AAA semifinal at Bald Eagle Area.
The Patriots will face Neumann-Goretti, which beat them on a last-second three-pointer in the regular season, in the final Friday at 8 p.m. at the Giant Center.
Less than three weeks after winning its first playoff game in 51 years, Conwell-Egan is one win away from a state title.
Stevie Jordan scored 21 points and the Eagles dispatched Loyalsock, 55-44, at Cumberland Valley.
The Eagles head to Hershey to face undefeated District 7 champion Aliquippa on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Neumann-Goretti has named Dan Concannon its head football coach. He was most recently the defensive coordinator at Valley Forge Military Academy.
Concannon was a three-year varsity player and captain at N-G (Class of 2003) and played at Ursinus. He replaces Chalie Szydlik, who stepped down after guiding the Saints to a 9-5 record and the PIAA Class AA quarterfinals last season.
Three players from Southeastern Pa. were selected to the Jordan Brand Classic regional game on April 17 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Haverford School's Levan Alston (Temple) and Archbishop Carroll's Derrick Jones (UNLV) will join forces on the "home" team. Phelps' Quincy McKnight (Sacred Heart) will play for the "away" squad.
