The Women's Auxiliary of St. Edmond's Home for Children held its Centennial Gala and 77th annual Cup Day event Oct. 28 at the Union League of Philadelphia. The organization - founded in 1917 to help care for children with profound physical, intellectual, and medical disabilities - raises money to support the children, staff, and maintenance of the home. More than 300 attendees, including a record 80 Young Friends, enjoyed dinner and dancing at the event, which raised $100,000 to support children's ongoing needs and therapies. Linda and Ed Loughlin and Chere and Steve Onofrio were honored at the event.
