A year ago, Susan was on her computer when it suddenly occurred to her that she wanted a career as a graphic designer. "If you have it in your mind, it can happen," she decided.

The 14-year-old was even more determined after a visit to Rutgers in Camden, where she attended a graphic design class. After watching the students working on special projects on the computers, they helped her design her name in a unique way.

Now in high school, Susan looks forward to attending college and majoring in graphic design. Although her favorite classes are art and gym, what she likes most about school is the opportunity to make friends and socialize.

If she had three wishes, they would be to get an iPhone 6, get a Coach bag, and visit Jamaica, "because it's beautiful," she says.

Susan has had many disappointments and losses in her life and dreams of having a forever family. "I want someone to love me, guide me, and listen to me," she said. It would be great if there were other teenagers in the family. Susan is close to her siblings, and it is important that they remain in contact.

Susan and other children are available for adoption. For information, contact Anna Coleman at the National Adoption Center.
