A group of Chester County preservationists is hoping to deliver the stars and the moon next week in Kennett Square.
The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester is inviting people to celebrate the winter solstice and a full moon on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Stateline Woods Preserve in Kennett Square.
The program will include a brief ceremony of the seasons by a warm fire. Telescopes will be on hand for star and moon gazing, and hot beverages will be provided. A donation is $10 per person is suggested; children 12 and under are free.
