Jason Buck of West Chester, a
alumnus, was one of three winners of the 2007 William E. Simon Fellowship for Noble Purpose, awarded by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute.
Buck, a senior at Franciscan University in Ohio, received the $5,000 fellowship on April 14 at an awards ceremony in Indianapolis.
Buck won the award for his work with Culture of Life Inc., a nonprofit anti-abortion organization he established while in high school. Culture of Life raised more than $50,000 last year to run commercials in the Philadelphia region aimed at spreading its message to children.
