Talent show audition
The AGRA Community Theater is calling performers of all ages to audition for its Community Variety Show (scheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 4 at Avon Grove Intermediate School). The fund-raising event will showcase musicians, vocalists, actors, dancers, magicians, jugglers, comedians, and other talented individuals. Come try out to be part of the show! Auditions take place at Kemblesville United Methodist Church, 1772 New London Rd., Landenberg.

Wondering what to do with the kiddies during winter break? Drop them off at Brandywine YMCA to take part in one of the camp sessions created for the no-school days at the end of December. Sports camps will be offered this week as well as a traditional full-day camp for children ages 6 to 12. The full-day camp on Friday will include a field trip to go ice-skating. The New Year's Noon party will take place Tuesday. Call 610-380-9622 for more information and to register.

Family afternoon movie
