He ends up leaving a New Year's party and sitting outside to read, but that doesn't end well. Chad Allen (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman) provides the voice of Charlie Brown in this 1986 Peanuts special.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (9 p.m., CBS3) - A mother whom everyone believed to be grieving over the loss of her family three years earlier becomes a suspect in an investigation by the team in "Lost & Found." Marc Vann, Larry Mitchell and Julia Campbell guest star; Laurence Fishburne, Marg. Helgenberger, and George Eads also star.

The Office (9 p.m., NBC10) - Believing he has contracted a sexually transmitted disease, Michael (Steve Carell) contacts all his former girlfriends, including Jan and Holly (Melora Hardin, Amy Ryan).
