Mayor Nutter will travel to the United Kingdom and Israel along with representatives from area companies on an 11-day trade mission next month, his office announced Monday.

Nutter is scheduled to arrive in London on Nov. 2 and return to Philadelphia from Israel on Nov. 12. The types of companies represented on the trip will include clean energy, green building, biotech, and manufacturing.

Nutter will fly to Israel on Nov. 6. He will be hosted by Tel Aviv, a sister city with Philadelphia. He will be joined by Drexel University president John A. Fry and Steven M. Altschuler, chief executive officer of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, to announce a research partnership with Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
