Two killed minutes apart in Southwest Phila.

Two men were killed in separate shootings minutes and blocks apart Friday evening in Southwest Philadelphia, police said. About 5:55 p.m. in the 6200 block of Grays Avenue, a 19-year-old man was shot in the chest, said Chief Inspector Scott Small. He was pronounced dead at 6:10 p.m. at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

About eight minutes later in the 6100 block of Buist Avenue, a 24-year-old man was shot in the face, chest, and back, Small said. He was pronounced dead at 6:36 p.m. at the same hospital. No arrests were reported in either case. - Robert Moran
