Earlier story:

Philadelphia police said Wednesday they are looking for three young men ages 17 to 19 in the shooting death of a man walking his dog in the Overbrook section last week.

Homicide Capt. James Clark said the three are suspects in the death of 51-year-old Jim Stuhlman, who was found dead Thursday in the 6400 block of Woodcrest Avenue, his labradoodle Molly next to him.

Clark said the three teens were wearing backpacks at the time of the killing.

Clark said detectives believe the killing came during a random attempted robbery. Nothing was stolen from Stuhlman.

He said detectives have gathered video footage from the surrounding areas and are now reviewing it.
