Federal prosecutors on Thursday charged a Montgomery County man with surreptitiously filming children changing their clothes in Dorney Park in Allentown and related offenses - one of his repeated arrests for child pornography.
Kurt Eichert, 51, of Wyndmoor, was accused of possession, production and distribution of child pornography. The indictment accuses Eichert of producing child pornography, including the filming at Dorney Park, from 2005 to about September.
In September, Abington police arrested Eichert and charged him with 117 counts involving child porn. That case was adopted by the federal prosecutors, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney's office said Thursday.
In 1996, Eichert was charged in Common Pleas Court in Lehigh County with using a video camera hidden in a gym bag to tape boys and young men in a changing room at another water park. He pleaded guilty in that case to corruption of minors. - Mark Fazlollah
