Parveen: Weekend warmup in store

Temperatures dropped overnight. Lows will be around the mid 30s for the Philadelphia area Friday, and possibly upper 20s through the Lehigh Valley.

Wind will be much lighter through the day Friday, around 10 mph from the West. Highs will be 52-55 degrees with sunny skies.

We start warming up a bit over the weekend. Sunny Saturday with highs around 58. High pressure will be keeping us dry through the weekend.

This area of high pressure will move to our East Sunday and bring us more of a South wind direction. This could warm parts of the area into the low 60s Sunday with mostly sunny skies. Well above normal for this time of year.

Next week we start near 60 and more clouds for Monday. Then we'll be watching our next weather system for Tuesday.

Some models keep it too far South to bring rain, but a few others still move it North. If anything, it would be rain with the milder air mass in place. No significant cool-down after Tuesday. Our weather pattern is staying milder for now.
