Philly's Powerball winner is Upper Darby woman

Powerball's mystery winner has finally come forward.

Powerball's mystery winner has finally come forward.

Patricia Chandler, of Upper Darby, Delaware County, is the person who purchased the winning ticket in the June 22 drawing at Federal Beer in Philadelphia's Point Breeze section.

She claimed the cash, worth $77.4 million before taxes, the fourth biggest cash payout by Powerball in the state's history. The advertised annuity was worth $131.5 million.

She matched all the numbers: 13, 19, 23, 33 and 57, with a Powerball of 28.

She used a computer pick, according to a lottery spokesman, but declined to share other details or be part of a check presentation ceremony.

No quotes by her or other details about her were shared in the state lottery's initial news release.

Pennsylvania had two Powerball winners last year. Roger Custer of Bucks County collected $33 million cash won in a December drawing, and Philadelphia's SEPTA 48 shared an April 2012 jackpot worth $107.5 million cash.
