Shuttle buses on western Market-Frankford Line this weekend
SEPTA will operate shuttle buses instead of train service on the Market-Frankford Line between 69th Street Terminal and 40th and Market Streets from 8 p.m. today until 5 a.m. Monday because of the Market Street Elevated reconstruction project.
SEPTA will operate shuttle buses instead of train service on the Market-Frankford Line between 69th Street Terminal and 40th and Market Streets from 8 p.m. today until 5 a.m. Monday because of the Market Street Elevated reconstruction project.
For riders traveling into Center City, the buses will leave 69th Street Terminal and travel on Chestnut Street from 63d to 45th Streets, back to Market Street, and then to 40th Street Station, where riders will transfer to the El.
From Center City, riders will transfer to shuttle buses at 40th and Market Streets. The buses will go on 40th Street to Walnut Street, Walnut to 63d Street, and back on Market Street to 69th Street Terminal.
Shuttle buses will serve stops designated by the yellow-and-black "El Shuttle" signs at 40th amd 44th (Market Street), 46th and Farragut, 48th, 52d, 56th, 57th, 60th and 63d (Walnut and Chestnut Streets) and at Sellers Avenue for Millbourne Station.
