Philadelphia police were looking into four separate slayings that happened in unrelated cases today.

Two happened early this morning, in South Philadelphia and North Philadelphia, and the last two were at night in West Philadelphia and in Strawberry Mansion.

The first killing happened at 1:04 a.m., when police were called to the Vy Da Sports Club at 612 Washington Ave. in South Philadelphia. Officers found two men who had been knifed, one fatally, during a fight outside the club.

A 36-year-old man who was stabbed in the stomach was pronounced dead at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital at 1:28 a.m., police said. The other victim, a 31-year-old man, was in stable condition last night at Jefferson with a stab wound in his back.

At 1:47 a.m., police responded to the 2100 block of North Reese Street in North Philadelphia, where they found a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The third slaying happened shortly before 7:30 last night near 50th and Master Streets in the Parkside section of West Philadelphia.

Police found a 33-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds in the back of Chevrolet Tahoe, according to Lt. Philip Riehl of the Homicide Unit. The victim was declared dead at 7:47 p.m. at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

The last killing happened about 9:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of Oakdale Street in Strawberry Mansion. Few details were available, save that the victim was male.

None of the victims were immediately identified.
