Police have identified the 27-year-old woman found strangled to death in Kensington this week as Casey Mahoney of East Stoudsburg in Monroe County.

Mahoney was strangled and found Wednesday night, nude from the waist down near railroad tracks off the 100 block of East Tusculum Street. She showed signs of sexual assault, police said.

Police believe Mahoney may have been killed by the same man responsible for the strangling deaths of Elaine Goldberg and Nicole Piacentini, who were both found strangled to death in Kensington last month.
