A Pennsylvania Match 6 lottery ticket worth $5 million was sold at a Montgomery County store, state officials announced today.
The ticket containing all six winning numbers from Monday night's drawing, 11-21-26-35-39-41, was sold at Weis Markets on West Germantown Pike in Norristown.
The jackpot is the game's fourth largest prize, lottery officials said in a release. The prize grew in size for the last few months, since a ticket matching all six winning numbers hadn't been drawn since the Dec. 26 drawing.
The largest Match 6 jackpot on record was a $7.3 million prize won Oct. 3 last year in Cambria County.
The state Lottery Commission encourages the holder of the winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, or at any of Lottery's seven area offices.
