Professor to speak about the Beatles' history and evolving music

MEDIA "Life is very short, and there's no time for fussing and fighting, my friend."

If you recognize those lyrics as from the Beatles song "We Can Work It Out," you might be interested in learning more about the band.

Pennsylvania State University's Kenneth Womack will cover everything from the Beatles' earlier, unpolished work up to their best, including Abbey Road, the 11th studio album the group released. The event is part of the Penn State Brandywine speaker series.

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!: The Evolving Artistry of the Beatles" will be held on Feb. 13 at 11:30 a.m. in Room 113 of the campus' Main Building.

The event is free and open to the public. Space is limited. To RSVP contact BW-UR@psu.edu or call 610-892-1484. - Mari A. Schaefer
