Three masked gunmen climbed through the drive-through window of a North Philadelphia McDonald's early yesterday and bound three employees before fleeing with about $2,000 in cash, police said.

No one was injured during the stickup at the restaurant on the 2100 block of West Lehigh Avenue.

Police said the bandits, all armed with handguns, masked, and wearing hooded sweatshirts, entered about 2:30 a.m. and rounded up the employees. After securing the workers' hands with plastic ties, they looted the cash registers, officials said. They also stole $75 in cash, a cell phone, and a passport from one of the employees before fleeing.

Police were still looking for the trio yesterday. - Inquirer staff
