Two men have been arrested on charges of trying to smuggle drugs into a Burlington County high school hidden in a doughnut hole, police said.

Two men have been arrested on charges of trying to smuggle drugs into a Burlington County high school hidden in a doughnut hole, police said.

They said the incident occurred last Wednesday when Brian Perry Jr., 21, showed up at Bordentown High School with a lunch for Ilker Ceyla, 18, a senior at the school.

For reasons not explained, school officials suspected the lunch might contain contraband and searched the bag, Bordentown Township police said.

Inside they found a small plastic bag with six Xanax tables tucked inside the hole of a doughnut, the police said.

Perry, of Mount Holly, was arrested that day and charged with drug distribution charges and released after posting bail set at $250,000, police said.

Ceyla was arrested on Monday after a motor vehicle stop, police said.

Besides offenses related to the Xanax discover, he was charged with possession of a jar of marijuana allegedly found in the car, police said.

Ceyla was being held at Burlington County Jail after he was unable to post bail.
