A man from a tony South Jersey suburb was carjacked Tuesday after driving into Camden to sell marijuana, police said.

Austin Goettelmann, 23, of Haddonfield, allegedly told police that he drove to Camden to sell the marijuana so that he could buy other drugs. About 2:45 p.m. on the 2000 block of Ferry Avenue, Goettelmann met three men in a burgundy Nissan Maxima. Two of the men got out, pulled out guns, and took Goettelmann's marijuana, his cell phone and his gold 2000 Honda Accord.

Goettelman called the police and, after reporting the robbery to Officer Anthony Amato, was himself charged with loitering in order to sell drugs. Goettelman received a summons and was released.

Police are searching for two black males. The first was described as about 6-foot-2, about 170 pounds and wearing a gray hooded short and black Dickie pants. The second suspect was described as 5-foot-10, about 190 pounds, and wearing a black-hooded shirt. The driver of the Maxima was wearing a hooded shirt and was not clearly seen.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Camden County police at (856) 757-7042.
