A 61-year-old man was crushed to death Wednesday at a Camden County concrete plant after he was run over by a forklift, police said.

Rodrigo Ocampo, of Egg Harbor Township, allegedly walked into the path of a forklift carrying a hopper filled with concrete just before 1:30 p.m. at the Boccella Concrete building, on the 300 block of New Brooklyn Road in Winslow Township, according to police.

Police said the forklift operator told them he did not notice Ocampo, who was hit by the forklift and then crushed under the weight of the vehicle's forks.

Ocampo was pronounced dead at the scene.

No criminal charges have been filed.
