Police seek help to ID remains found off S.J. interstate highway
Investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying the remains of a body found Friday afternoon off a South Jersey interstate highway.
Forensics determined that the remains had been off I-676 near the intersection of Morgan Blvd. and Broadway in Camden for less than a year, said Jason Laughlin, spokesman for the Camden County prosecutor's office.
A cause of death could not be determined. The remains are believed to be that of an 18 to 25 year-old black male, about 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds. he was found wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt. He had had extensive dental work, Laughlin said, including four crowned front teeth.
