HARRISBURG - A bank has filed a mortgage-foreclosure action against a property owned by the mayor of Pennsylvania's financially troubled capital.

Metro Bank filed the nearly $52,000 complaint Wednesday in Dauphin County Court, the Harrisburg Patriot-News reported.

The Harrisburg property is the former headquarters of Loveship, Mayor Linda Thompson's onetime nonprofit agency that counseled residents on their mortgages. Thompson founded and ran the agency before she was elected mayor in 2009. She doesn't live on the property. - AP
