Businesses with questions about how to operate during the papal visit can now call the city's Business Resource Center for information.
The Department of Commerce launched the Center Monday at noon to provide answers about how the World Meeting of Families and papal visit will impact businesses' employees and operations.
The Center will operate Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Users can call the hotline at 215-683-2100 or email questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The City's website already includes a Papal Visit Information Center with a list of frequently asked questions for businesses at http://www.phila.gov/InformationCenters/pope/Pages/default.aspx.
Staff from the Office of Business Services will answer questions and in specific case-by-case instances, track down information or connect with other City departments.
Last week, Mayor Nutter released a map showing the traffic restrictions and secure perimeters in Center City the weekend of the papal visit Sept. 26-27.
