Kixx go to OT, win in Calif.

STOCKTON, Calif. - Don D'Ambra scored the tying goal with one second remaining in regulation and the Kixx defeated the California Cougars, 18-16, in overtime last night in a Major Indoor Soccer League game at Stockton Arena.

Rookie Tony Donatelli scored the goal in OT to cap the comeback.

The Kixx (12-7) scored four goals in the final two minutes of regulation to erase a six-point deficit and send the game into overtime.

D'Ambra had a hat trick, as did Sandre Naumoski, who scored twice in the final 1 minute, 58 seconds. In the wild final two minutes, five goals were scored by the teams.

Naumoski scored with 14 seconds left, setting up D'Ambra's final-second heroics.

The first-place Kixx remain a game ahead of second-place Detroit (12-9) in the MISL standings.
