Penn State and Northwestern will meet in one of the Big Ten Network's seven prime-time football games in the upcoming season.
The Nittany Lions and Wildcats will play on Oct. 22 at Northwestern's Ryan Field in Evanston, Ill., at 7 p.m.
It will be the first prime-time matchup between the schools. Penn State leads the series, 11-3.
It is Penn State's first game to have an announced time, and means the Lions will be playing at least one prime-time regular-season game for the 12th consecutive season.
