Brittney Griner scored 12 of 25 points in the closing run that pushed top-ranked Baylor past No. 2 Connecticut, 66-61, on Sunday night in Waco, Texas.

The Bears (11-0) won their second No. 1 vs. No. 2 game this season while avenging a one-point loss at Connecticut last year when the rankings were reversed.

Griner also had nine rebounds and nine blocked shots. She made all seven of her free throws, six of them coming in a game-ending 27-11 run as Baylor overcame its biggest deficit of the season. Odyssey Sims had 23 points for the Bears, whose 29-game home winning streak includes a 94-81 win over then-No. 2 Notre Dame in November.

Notre Dame 92, Kentucky 83 - Skylar Diggins made her only three-pointer of the game and then forced a turnover as the No. 3 Irish (10-1) used an 11-0 run to finish off No. 8 Wildcats (10-1) in South Bend, Ind. Not only did the Irish snap Kentucky's 10-game winning streak, they avenged a loss last season in Lexington, Ky., in the first meeting between the teams.

Penn State 103, Wagner 42 - Alex Bentley and Maggie Lucas each scored 23 points to lead the No. 16 Nittany Lions over the 2-8 Seahawks in State College, Pa. Penn State (9-2) got off to a slow start, then put together a 33-3 run.

Texas A&M 71, Southern California 70 - Sydney Carter calmly swished a three from the top of the key to lift the No. 10 Aggies (8-2) to a rousing comeback win over the Trojans in College Station, Texas. USC (4-5) led, 69-61, with 2 minutes, 34 seconds remaining before the defending national champions mounted the comeback that was capped by Carter's shot.
