The NCAA men's basketball tournament Final Four is headed to cable for the first time next year.

CBS and Turner Sports announced Tuesday that in 2014 and 2015, the Final Four will air on TBS and the national championship game will air on CBS.

That's a change from CBS and Turner's original deal with the NCAA, which had the Final Four and title game staying with CBS through 2015.

From 2016 through 2024, the semifinals and final will both air on the same channel, but will alternate between CBS and TBS. CBS will air the games in odd years, and TBS will air the games in even years.

In addition, CBS and Turner announced Tuesday that starting next season, both the regional semifinals and the regional finals will be split between CBS and TBS. Splitting the regional semi-finals isn't new, but until now CBS had aired all four regional finals.

The second and third rounds will continue to be spread across CBS, TBS, TNT and truTV, and the first round will remain entirely on truTV.
