Temple has dipped into the junior college ranks for two linemen who made oral commitments to the Owls on Sunday. Arizona Western offensive tackle Bo Alexander and Dakota College of Bottineau defensive end Nickolos Madourie both announced on Twitter that they have committed to Temple. The new early signing period is from Wednesday through Friday.

Madourie had decommitted recently from Central Florida.

Alexander visited Temple on Thursday and Friday, before the team departed for Florida on Saturday to prepare for Thursday's Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl in St. Petersburg Florida against Florida International University.

Temple has 23 known commitments and the coaching staff is confident that many will sign on Wednesday. The Owls are still in the running for a few more players and apparently the staff isn't finished recruiting in the junior college ranks.

While NCAA rules prohibit the coaches from talking about the players until they have signed, Temple coach Geoff Collins said last week that he hopes to get between eight to 10 enrolling in January.
