A tribute is scheduled to take place at halftime on the Miller Lite Flight Deck.

During his seven seasons with the Eagles, Bergey earned four Pro Bowl bids, two All-Pro selections and was voted team MVP three times. He led the Eagles in tackles six times while registering 18 interceptions.

He was inducted into the franchise's Honor Roll in 1988.

The Eagles sent two first-round picks (1977, 1978) and a second-rounder (1978) to Cincinnati to acquire Bergey in 1974.
