Carli Sukonik's 11th and 12th goals of the game, both in the final minute, gave Harriton a 20-19 win over Boyertown in a District 1 girls' lacrosse fifth-place game on Thursday.

Sukonik, a Lehigh University recruit, broke a school single-season scoring record with 114 goals. Two-time University of Maryland all-American Anysia Fedec scored 112 goals in 1983.

Harriton advances to a Wednesday game against District 1 runner-up Garnet Valley.

In the title game, Downingtown East rolled to a 22-12 win over Garnet Valley and will face seventh-seeded Upper Dublin on Wednesday at a site to be determined.

Ashley Poli had nine goals for the top-seeded Cougars (22-1), and Kelly Devlin added nine assists.

Upper Dublin took seventh with a 12-5 win over Council Rock North at Plymouth Whitemarsh as Kelly Cross scored seven goals.

Softball

Kiersten Cain is used to pitching no-hitters, having thrown 10 in her remarkable career at Bristol.

No-hitter No. 10 was the most important for Cain, as it came in the Bicentennial League championship game, a 2-0 win over Christopher Dock at William Tennent.

The 10 no-hitters represent a school record at Bristol, beating the mark of nine set by Stacie Bonner in 1989.

Cain struck out 14 and walked three.

Catholic. At Arcadia University, Lansdale Catholic did not need a hit to rally for three sixth-inning runs to win the league championship game, 3-1, over St. Hubert. The Crusaders won the game on three bases-loaded walks in the sixth inning.

Winning pitcher Mary Cate Scott held the Bambies to just two hits and one unearned run.

The Crusaders' lone hit off St. Hubert starter Erica Ragazzone came from Megan Martin in the fifth.

Public. Masterman completed an overall league title three-peat, and Emily Ashbridge, the player most responsible for the last two trophies, was instrumental again in a 6-0 title-clinching win over Franklin Towne Charter at La Salle University.

Ashbridge's 56th league decision resulted in her 54th win, a four-hitter. The senior lefthander finished with 11 strikeouts and one walk.

Leadoff hitter Amy Louis jump-started the Masterman offense by going 2 for 4 and scoring a pair of runs.

Pa. Independent Schools. Friends Schools League champion Abington Friends reached the tournament title game with a 10-6 semifinal win over visiting Springside, getting a solid five-inning relief effort from Gabby Garza. The Kangaroos (16-3) also got two hits apiece from Taylor Harding, Kelsey Clark, and Maria Savarese.

The win earned the Kangaroos a shot at two championships in the same postseason if they are able to beat Penn Charter on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rosemont College.

Penn Charter won the regular-season meeting between the teams, 7-6.

Penn Charter earned its spot in the finals with a 13-9 semifinal win over Shipley as senior first baseman Katie Brock hit two triples and drove in a pair of runs.

The Quakers (13-5) also got three RBIs from junior centerfielder Emily Kurtz, and sophomore righthanded pitcher Jess Drossner went all seven innings.

Girls' Soccer

At Northeast, a first-half goal stood up for Central in a 1-0 win over Franklin Towne Charter in the Public League title game.

It was the 107th straight league win for the Lancers
