Freshman Marissa Sylvester led the late charge, scoring five of her seven points in the final period, including a three-pointer that handed Nazareth Academy a 43-42 lead, its first of the night.
Nazareth trailed by five after three quarters before rallying to outscore the Golden Panthers by 10 points in the fourth quarter. Nicole Dombrowski's 15 points set the pace in the win.
Taylor Bearden led Pope John Paul II with a game-high 24 points.
Pennridge Tournament. Bensalem was on target from long range as it knocked off Pennridge, 50-47, in the tournament final. Ashley Schneider hit five three-pointers and all but three of her points came from behind the arc. As a team, the Owls hit five three's in the fourth quarter to rally for the win.
Bristol Classic. Morgan Pepito hit three of her four foul shots in overtime to help Conwell-Egan knock off Morrisville, 46-42.
Mastery Charter Tournament. Brinklea Barnes' 16 points led the way as Mastery Charter captured its tournament title with a 36-21 win over Hope Charter. Barnes was named the tourney's MVP and was aided by the seven-rebound effort of Delina Adams.
Coatesville Tournament. Emily Grundman's 20 points helped guide Council Rock North over Coatesville, 43-24, in the tournament final. Alyssa Dumont aided the effort with six rebounds and five assists.
Methacton Lady Warrior Tournament. Behind Brittany Sicinski's 21 points, Downingtown West knocked off Council Rock South, 56-43, in the tourney final. Alex Wheatley finished with a game-high 30 points to lead C.R. South.
Friends Select Invitational. Teharah Worrell scored 12 points as Mercy Vocational turned away Friends Select's late rally and won, 33-30. Trailing by 15 entering the fourth, the Falcons rallied to outscore Mercy 19-7 in the final quarter before falling short.
Upper Darby Royal Classic. Erin Anastas' 17 points helped St. Hubert knock off West Chester Rustin, 55-34. She was aided by the 12-point outputs of both Ashley Bieringer and Charlotte Kucowski.
North Penn Tournament. North Penn won its own tournament behind the second straight double-double performance by Lauren Crisler. The Maidens downed Lansdale Catholic, 50-27, as Crisler finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Springfield (Delco) Tournament. Madi Vitelli's 19 points were enough to propel Central Bucks South over host Springfield (Delco), 49-36, in the tournament final.
Beast of the East Showcase. Deanna Mayza knocked down three three-pointers to lift Hill School over John Carroll (Md.), 53-51, in Baltimore. The junior finished with a game-high 28-points and was aided by Claire Maree O'Bryan's 15 points.
Junior forward Kiernan McCloskey grabbed 18 rebounds to help Germantown Academy rock Grassfield (Va.), 48-18.
Chester Tournament. Senior center Omawumi Rafiu's strong presence helped Neumann-Goretti roll over Chester, 65-29, in the tournament final. Rafiu finished with a 12 points and a game-high 16 rebounds.
Cedar Crest Tournament. Alex Louin picked up tournament MVP honors as Mount St. Joseph downed Governor Mifflin, 40-22, in the tournament final.
Nonleague. Meghan Creighton dropped in 20 points and dished out seven assists to help Archbishop Carroll top Christ The King (N.Y.), 61-51. The Patriots built up a 10-point first quarter lead and never withered.
