S. Jersey Girls: Holy Cross romps past Burlington, 92-52

Holy Cross' offense kicked into high gear in just its second game of the season, steamrolling to a 92-52 victory over visiting Burlington City on Tuesday night in Burlington County League basketball.

The Lancers had 50 points at intermission as Aliyah Jeune enjoyed a 30-point game, and Alliya Butts added 23 points and nine steals, and Amanda Offenback 17 points in the contest.

Also in Burlington County, Moorestown posted its first win, 47-27, at Bordentown with Stephanie Toy's 19 points, Frankie Angeleri's 15 and a 27-11 second half.

Burlington Township overcame an early 11-point deficit and tripped host New Egypt, 37-32. Simi Adewumi had nine points and 11 rebounds, and Alicia Bradley added nine points and five assists for the Falcons.

N.J. Vocational Tournament. Pennsauken Tech and Westampton Tech each won semifinal games at Camden County tech and advanced to Tuesday's title game.

Pennsauken Tech stifled Medford Tech, 37-15, with Amber Brown's 11 points, and Westampton Tech got past Atlantic County Tech, 56-10. Westampton got points from 11 players, topped by Dina Tunstall's 17.

Colonial. Inspired by a 15-4 first quarter and a 17-point game from Siani Nicholson, Gateway claimed a 45-24 win over visiting Lindenwold.

Olympic. Kylie Giedemann got loose for 23 points and Washington Township built a 29-13 halftime advantage on its way to a 58-29 win at Pennsauken.

Eastern outscored visiting Winslow Township by 39-16 over the two middle periods en route to a 65-41 win. Jewel Wilson gave the Vikings 19 points and nine steals, Cari Winiarski scored 14 points, and Sarah Kane added seven rebounds and six assists.

Erin Molina had a double-double with 10 points and a dozen rebounds, steering Shawnee past visiting Cherokee, 56-25. Kelsey Kennedy topped the Renegades' offense with 12 points.

Cherry Hill East got the best of visiting rival Cherry Hill West, 42-35, as junior guard Caitlin Delany hit four three-point shots in a 14-point effort. West's Yaz Villegas led all scorers with 16.

Brianna Wylie scored 12 points and Lenape emptied its bench, getting points from 12 platers during a 53-13 win at Camden.

Nonleague. Haddon Township overwhelmed visiting Camden Academy Charter, 60-32, as Sara DeCinque netted seven of her 16 points in the opening period.

Moorestown Friends gained some breathing room with a 13-5 third quarter in which Sarah Applegate and Kelcie Evans (10) combined for 11 points.
