S. Jersey Girls: Clark's milestone goal helps Haddonfield roll

Laurel Falana contributed six goals and two assists, Clark netted five goals and Taylor Ng scored five times for fifth-seeded Haddonfield, which advances to Friday's quarterfinal at No. 4 seed Bishop Eustace.

Maple Shade, seeded 12th, received hat tricks from Kacie Booth, Samantha Reader, and Allie Vallen.

Burlington County. New Egypt doubled-up host Delran, 22-11, behind nine goals by Emma Bunce.

The Warriors received multiple goals from six players, including four by Courtney Natalicchio and a hat trick by Danielle Andreula.

Softball

Jessie Blythe capped her 4-for-5, five-RBI performance with a two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning, making host Haddon Township a 7-6 winner over Haddonfield in the Colonial Conference.

Rosie Finizio batted 2 for 3 and scored twice in support of winning pitcher Kaitlyn Stoltz.

In another Colonial clash, Haddon Heights ran out to a 6-0 second-inning lead en route to an 8-4 win at Woodbury.

Shayla Sweeney struck out nine and scattered five hits, while Mariah Hans and Mattie McCleery each went 2 for 3 and combined to score three times for the Garnets.

Tri-County. GCIT clinched at least a tie for the Diamond Division crown with a 3-1 home win over Woodstown.

Erynn Sobieski lost her shutout bid in the seventh, but limited the Wolverines to two hits in posting her 19th victory of the season. Brooke Chisholm and Andie Freedman each drove in a run for the Cheetahs.

Freshman righthander Julia Voluntad set a career high with 15 strikeouts in pitching host Delsea past Penns Grove, 5-2.

Voluntad, Trista Mokieno and Kayla Rohm combined for six hits, three runs and two RBIs for the Crusaders, who grabbed a 3-0 lead in the first inning.

Kelsey Dominik tossed a three-hit shutout and hit a home run in carrying Kingsway to a 4-0 victory at Williamstown. Kara Grogan and Erica Pyla-Gibson combined for four hits and two runs.

Kassidy White and Casey Kisielewski accounted for three of Pennsville's five hits and all of the Eagles' runs in a 3-0 home win over Salem.

Burlington County. Stacie Johnson drove in two runs with a pair of singles, as host Burlington City made the most of its five hits in a 5-1 win over Holy Cross.

Olympic. Eastern's Steph Vuono held Shawnee to two hits, but the visiting Renegades broke through for a run in the seventh to pull out a 1-0 victory. Jackie Pezzato tossed a three-hit shutout.

Cape-Atlantic. Run-scoring doubles by Victoria Raffaele and Taylor Franchville enabled host Middle Township to trim Mainland, 5-3.
